Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna Huddle Amidst Anantapur Crowd

Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda recently marked their one-month anniversary on March 26. Their celebration took place in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, where they were warmly greeted on the set of their film Ranabaali. The couple also made a stop at a temple prior to their arrival, creating a memorable day filled with cultural significance.

As captured in a video by a local Instagram page, Vijay and Rashmika appeared happy, waving to fans and receiving well-wishes in the form of flowers. Dressed in a simple cream kurta, Vijay was protective as he held Rashmika close, ensuring her safety amidst a large crowd that gathered to catch a glimpse of the couple. Security personnel were on hand to manage the situation, yet the couple remained gracious, accepting blessings from priests at the temple.

Upon leaving the Hanuman temple, Vijay continued to shield Rashmika, demonstrating his concern as they navigated through the throng of eager fans. A video from the event displayed the overwhelming crowd, with people trying to reach out to the couple. Despite the close encounter, they managed to retreat to their car with Vijay ensuring Rashmika’s safety until she was seated inside.

Following the temple visit, the duo returned to the Ranabaali set, where they were welcomed with traditional harathi rituals. The ceremony included women applying kumkum on their foreheads in a gesture of goodwill. The couple shared a light moment, with Rashmika smiling up at Vijay, a scene captured by the paparazzi present.

Ranabaali is an upcoming historical action-drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan, known for Shyam Singha Roy. The film is set against the backdrop of resistance to colonial rule and the Great Indian Famine, taking place between 1854 and 1878. Vijay plays the lead role, while Rashmika portrays his on-screen wife, Jayamma. The film also features Arnold Vosloo as the antagonist and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series.

This project marks the third collaboration between Vijay and Rashmika, following Geetha Govindam in 2018 and Dear Comrade in 2019, and is their first film post-wedding. The eagerly anticipated release is scheduled for September 11. In addition to Ranabaali, Rashmika is set to star in Cocktail 2 in Hindi and Mysaa in Telugu, while Vijay has taken on a role in Rowdy Janardhana in Telugu. The couple’s engagement took place in October of the previous year, and they tied the knot in February in Udaipur.
