Vijay’s Bodyguard Shares Mysterious Message Ahead of Actor’s Wedding

Recent speculation surrounding Tamil actor and politician Vijay and actress Trisha Krishnan has intensified following the filing of a divorce petition by Vijay’s wife, Sangeeta Sornalingam. The petition, submitted to a Chennai court, mentions Vijay’s alleged relationship with a colleague, leading many to believe that he and Trisha are involved. This speculation was further fueled when both Vijay and Trisha appeared together at a wedding in Chennai.

On Thursday, the couple attended the reception of AGS producer Kalpathi Suresh’s son, attracting significant attention. Just hours before their appearance, Vijay’s bodyguard, Aroon Suresh, shared a post on Instagram stating, “Time to rise above all the rumours,” which was eventually deleted. However, he retained a photo featuring only Vijay making a heart sign, accompanied by a song from their 2004 film Ghilli. This act added more fuel to the speculation surrounding their relationship.

Sangeeta’s divorce petition has revealed troubling details. Filed at a family court in Chengalpattu District, the document alleges that their marriage has irretrievably broken down. Sangeeta has accused Vijay of sustaining an extramarital affair and has described a pattern of persistent mental cruelty and neglect. The petition specifies that Vijay has been “emotionally withdrawn” since 2021.

Additional claims in the petition include allegations of verbal contempt and constructive desertion, with Sangeeta asserting that Vijay forced her to live separately within their shared home. Efforts at reconciliation through correspondence between August 2024 and February 2025 have reportedly failed.

Vijay and Sangeeta married on July 10, 1998, in the United Kingdom, followed by a ceremonial event in Chennai on August 25, 1999. They share two children: Jason Sanjay, who is set to debut as a director soon, and Divya Saasha. Sangeeta’s petition also notes concerns about potential embarrassment caused to their children due to Vijay’s alleged affair, adding to the complexities of their marital breakdown.
