Yash Pays Respects to KGF Star Harish Rai at Heartfelt Funeral

Kannada actor Harish Rai, best known for his role as Chacha in the popular film series KGF, passed away at the age of 55 after a prolonged battle with stage 4 thyroid cancer. His death was confirmed on Thursday, with many in the film industry expressing their condolences.

During the farewell, prominent actor Yash offered a floral tribute to Rai, laying a large garland over the glass casket that held the veteran star. Yash, dressed in a white shirt, was seen arriving at the funeral and greeted mourners with folded hands. The deeply emotional moment was highlighted by his close presence to Rai’s son, Roshan, who was visibly distraught at the loss of his father.

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar also took to social media to share his condolences, describing Rai’s passing as a significant loss to the Kannada film industry. In his tribute, Shivakumar praised Rai’s illustrious career, noting his impressive performances in films such as Om, Hello Yama, and, of course, KGF. He expressed hope that Rai would find peace and offered strength to the grieving family.
