During the ceremony at Juhu Crematorium, Zayed Khan exhibited visible grief as he honored his mother. Close family members, including Sussanne Khan and her siblings, were present, with Sussanne seen carrying her mother’s body, unable to divert her gaze from her face. Sanjay Khan, visibly heartbroken, folded his hands in prayer amidst the unfolding emotional scenes captured by the media.

Many prominent figures from Bollywood attended Zarine’s funeral to offer their condolences, including Rani Mukerji, Kajol, and Jaya Bachchan. Bobby Deol arrived with tears in his eyes, while Hrithik Roshan was present to support Sussanne during this challenging time, attending the last rites alongside Saba Azad.

Zarine Khan had been facing health issues related to aging for some time before her passing. News reports confirm she passed away at her home in Mumbai. Zarine is survived by her husband, Sanjay Khan, and their children: Zayed, Sussanne, Farah Ali, and Simone.

Zarine initiated her professional journey as a model, starring in the 1963 Hindi film “Tere Ghar Ke Samne” with Dev Anand.
